Spencer Klein
Spencer took his first flight lesson at the age of fourteen and he has been flying ever since. Once old enough, he worked the ramp at Van Nuys Airport, initially washing airplanes for flight time. After becoming a CFI, Spencer instructed for a number of years out of the Phoenix area eventually receiving an FAA Gold Seal for achievement as a flight instructor. In 2007 Spencer was hired by ExpressJet Airlines and spent close to two years flying Embraer 135 and 145 Regional Jets out of their Houston, Newark, Cleveland, and Los Angeles bases. After being furloughed late in 2008, Spencer found a home as a flight instructor at Channel Islands Aviation. He now enjoys providing quality instruction to anyone interested in the world of flight.
